A few days ago, Ofarim’s lawyer spoke out publicly. In a detailed online post, he explained that his client was bound to secrecy. At the same time, he explicitly warned against making untrue statements of fact, which could have legal consequences.
This brought a new question into focus: Could statements made in the jungle camp become legally relevant? Fellow camper Ariel, who repeatedly and sharply criticized Ofarim, became a particular target of the debate.
